And because a fresh start should feel different, not just safer, we rearrange one room to a layout that is yours before we leave — and the same visit can repaint a room, haul out furniture that belongs to the last chapter, patch the wall where the photos came down, and rebuild the closet for one. Walk away with a written record of every access point we changed, every account you signed out of with us, and everything we could not account for.

Every The Reset includes real work — not just a clipboard. Here's what your pro handles, all in your base price.

Hearth is not a licensed contractor. Our pros perform minor work that does not require a California contractor license, and we refer all licensed trade work to licensed professionals.

Re-key all exterior locks (up to 3) — new keys handed to you on the spot
Door reinforcement — 3" screws driven into the framing at the strike plate and hinges, up to 2 exterior doors
Erase the garage opener's entire memory, then re-pair only the remotes physically in front of us — including your car's HomeLink
Wipe every access code stored inside the locks themselves — door keypads, smart locks, garage keypad
Password change AND sign-out of every other device on your camera, lock, and phone accounts (up to 5 accounts) — you hold your phone and type, we never see a password
Bluetooth tracker sweep — home, car and bags checked for AirTags, Tiles and SmartTags using the scan built into iOS and Android. This scan finds only Bluetooth trackers that are actively broadcasting. It cannot find GPS trackers, hardwired vehicle devices, or software installed on your phone
Call your monitoring company together — you change the verbal passcode and remove anyone else on the account
Key, fob, remote and lockbox inventory — including a written list of what is still unaccounted for
One room rearranged before we leave — you pick the room and the new layout, we move the heavy pieces (up to 30 minutes, sliders and muscle included)
